Since it was founded in 1934, Edelsegger Metals has developed over four generations from a small locksmith's shop to an international leader in metal processing technology. Today our company focuses on four areas:

From production-optimized engineering to the high-precision manufacture of turned, milled or bent parts, with associated quality management, you get everything from a single source. Our portfolio in steel construction includes, among others hydro power screws and fish ascent screws with a diameter of up to 3m and a length of up to 21m.

Company's history
1934
Founding of the locksmith business by Hans Seisenbacher in Ybbsitz; Production of stone crushers.
1945
Expansion to a modern machine and steel construction company.
1962
Karl Edelsegger and his wife Marianne (née Seisenbacher) take over the management.
1987
Subsidiary "Am Gries" is established in Ybbsitz. Expansion of CNC production and start of special machine construction.
2001
Launch of a production hall in Waidhofen / Ybbs for mechanical production and final assembly.
2004
Fixture construction and own training workshop in Waidhofen / Ybbs
2010
Founding of the metal interior division.
2012/13
New workshop in Ybbsitz on 22,000 m²
2020
Splitting of the two company divisions contract manufacturing / mechanical processing & metal interior. Paul Edelsegger and Nino Struska take over the management.
2021
Edelsegger Metals invests in new turning and milling machines, a press brake, a PV system and various electric vehicles.
2023
Edelsegger manufactures and uses FAST PV, a time-saving and pre-assembled substructure for photovoltaic modules. Acquisition of a fiber laser system and additional turning and milling machines. Expansion of the apprentice workshop due to increasing numbers of apprentices.
